Vlogging in Nepal

A video blog or video log, usually shortened for vlog, is a form of blog for which the medium is video and is a form of web television. Vlogs and Vlogging is famous all over the world. It plays a vital role in the sector of media and entertainment. Vlog entries often combine embedded video or a video link with supporting texts, images, and other metadata. Entries can be recorded in one take or cut into multiple parts. Vlog category is popular on the video sharing platform YouTube. 

Talking about Vlogging in Nepal, it is as famous as it is all over the world. Maybe not as developed as it is in other countries but people in Nepal sure are working on it. Vlogging in Nepal is usually done in two languages, the native language Nepali and the universal language English. So basically, Vlogs in Nepal are made for both Nepalese audience as well as audience all over the world. Vlogging in Nepal is done mostly about food and travelling. Nepal is a beautiful country with beautiful places to visit, this is why Vloggers in Nepal make Vlogs about travel in Nepal. Even if the Vloggers from different country visit Nepal, they generally end up making Vlogs about either travelling or food.

As I mentioned earlier, along with the Nepalese Vloggers vloggin about Nepal, we also have Vloggers from outside who come to Nepal and one thing they don't miss out on doing is Vlog. There are many things you could capture in Nepal. The beautiful places, the unique looking and different tasting food, and interactions with people. All in all Vlogging in Nepal is pretty famous even though if its not done by the Nepalese Vloggers but done by the Vloggers who come from other countries.

Mostly, people who already have a YouTube channel start making their Vlogs. Vlogs can be posted in any social media platform we want but mainly, it can be seen on YouTube because it is the biggest video sharing platform ever. However, we can also find people posting their Vlogs on Facebook and Instagram. There are different types of Vlogs in Nepal as well as all over the world.

Basically, Nepalese Vloggers focus on the first two topics: Travel and Food. It is very necessary for a Vlogger to Vlog about something that would attract the audience. Therefore, Nepalese Vloggers choose to focus on these two entities as Nepal is famous mainly for these things. So we can definitely say that Vlogging and Vloggers in Nepal is a big part of media and is very famous overall. 

ASSIGNMENT 9 CLASSMATE BLOG CRITIQUE

Classmate Blog Critique

Each and every classmates of mine have done a tremendous job on their blogs. I am very impressed with all the hard work and dedication all the classmates put into their blogs. But, according to me, there are two classmates whose blogs were a bit more interesting and well written. 

• Kobe Armstrong-Smith : Kobe's blog is one of the blogs I like among all the blogs. His blogs are simple and to the point. I think his effort and hard work on the blogs are clearly reflected in his writing. Among all the blogs he has written, my favorite has to be #8 Predictions. I think it was very unique and well analyzed.

• Anna Kirksey : Anna's blogs are also well written and they seem to be well researched too. I actually liked reading her blogs because they are so simple and not at all boring. One of my favorite blog among all of her blogs has to be #6 Global Trends. I chose this one because it was unique, funny, and nicely written than the other blogs.

• Desmion Owens : Desmion's blog is very informative and filled with varieties. I was personally very impressed with his blog because it contained all in all necessary information about each and every blog. My favorite one among his blogs has to be #4 Advertising Analysis. I think this one was more researched and well written than all of his blogs.

Overall, these three blogs are the ones I wouldn't mind reading again. I personally am fond of their writing as well. I myself got to learn a lot from their way of writing blogs and the way they focused on researching on each and every blogs they wrote.  

ASSIGNMENT 8 PREDICTIONS

Predictions

In simple words, prediction is something predicted or the action of predicting something. When there arrives new changes in any sector of the world, it is for sure to understand that there will be predictions made by the people as to more changes can occur. Predictions generally takes can take place in any of the things that is around us. We sure can predict things in order to understand the entire concept of how changes can occur. But, a prediction is often, but not always, based upon experience or knowledge. Prediction can also be noted as assumption. Something that we like to assume or even want to happen can be counted as prediction.

Predictions tend to take place mostly in Sports. It is so certain that before any championship, or match, we definitely predict the winner. Most likely, we do so especially in the sector of Sports because we want a certain team or a player to win. Sports prediction is usually biased.  

Example: World Cup 2018 is taking place soon and my prediction is that Germany will win the cup because Germany happens to be the country I support in the World Cup.

Another one that is very famous all over the world is Social Media Predictions. As time passes by and new changes occur in the sector of social media, we end up predicting things that might happen later or might never even happen.

Example: When I saw 'Facebook live' and 'Instagram live' taking place, I predicted that they might announce 'Snapchat live' soon. It is only obvious because if a social media application has everything why would people use a social media application that lacks certain things in it. Hence, it might be possible sooner or later for Snapchat to have its own live streaming just like Facebook and Instagram.
